Russia is not a "big" country like the US, most of Russia's land is just useless frozen wasteland, the population is declining, and the economy is based on the sale of gas and other materials. Worst of all is the fact that the USSR education system collapsed. You know how many bright scientists have just left the country and started working in other countries. The USSR had factories and they could produce things, while recent events show that the Russian military cannot even produce tanks without importing  parts. Forget planes and such.The Russian space industry is just dead at the moment, there is no hope that it will compete with the US or China. Heck, they couldn't even compete with US private companies right now. Countries where the state is corruption. In fact, Russia is small. In addition, in the age of nationalism, it is impossible to win a war against a great country that is also supported by excellent allies that have all the capacities in the world to produce  and supply the best high-quality weapon  to UA.When we talk about "a country too big to lose the war", let's not forget the USSR, which lost a war and collapsed.
